I did this to fix the microphone not working with Zoom

zoom problem no audio

Not sure if i will work with everyone but with my Wharton Online Classroom my microphone audio wouldn’t work… after hours of trouble shooting.

I changed the audio setting after that, I don’t know if you need to do this but I restarted my laptop and logged back into zoom and now the microphone worked and other people in class could hear me.

I had to take this with my phone camera so excuse production value this was done to fix a problem.

This should fix most of the problems with the microphone not working on zoom.

If it doesn’t i suggest closing all other windows and apps on your phone or computer and then restarting zoom. Zoom support has said if another device is using the mic it may not work on zoom. that would also include if your trying to use your computer to record on a different 3rd party software what your watching on zoom.
