If you were a fan of the default photo viewing program in Windows 7 that was called the Windows Photo Viewer then it’s fairly easy to get it back in Windows 11 with a simple registry hack. By default, Windows 11 will use the Photos app to open jpeg, tiff, and png images etc. All you need to do is use the text below in a registry file, reboot and you will have the Windows Photo Viewer on your open with menu and also in your default apps section of the Windows settings.
