|| MULTILEVEL LIST ||

Multilevel lists allow you to create an outline with multiple levels. In fact, you can turn any bulleted or numbered list into a multilevel list by placing the insertion point at the beginning of a line and pressing the Tab key to change the level for that line.Another use for multilevel lists is quiz or test questions where the question uses a number and the possible answers use lower case letters.

To Create a List with Multiple Levels:

1. Place your cursor anywhere within your list.

2. Under the /”Home/” tab, locate the /”Paragraph/” group
– Click the [Multilevel List] icon located next to the [Numbering] icon.
3. Choose a list from the “List Library,” or click “Define New Multilevel List” and complete the following:

|| BULLET LIST ||

A bullet point is a symbol that is used in writing to introduce an item in a list. A commonly used symbol to represent a bullet point is a centered dot ( • ), but many different symbols and characters can be used in bullet point lists. Sometimes, bulleted lists even use numbers and/or letters.
Word will automatically start a numbered list for you. Type* and a space before your text, and Word will make a bulleted list. To complete your list, press Enter until the bullets or numbering switch off.

1. Place your cursor where you want a bulleted list.

2. Click Home – Paragraph, and then click the arrow next to Bullets. Choose a bullet style and start typing.
