For typing square root In MS Word 2016

1. Click on Insert from the top menu

2. Go to Equation, it is in the Symbols section, at the end

3. Click on the Equation button, not the arrow on the right side next to the equation button.

4. A new menu will appear, click on the Radical function, it’s the third from left to right.

5. Then select your desire square root format…
