To Stop Microsoft Edge, its extensions and apps from Running in Background apply this change in its setting:
Open the Microsoft Edge setting as in this video. Click on “system and performance” then locate for the option “Continue running background apps when Microsoft Edge is closed”. Turn off this option and then close the Microsoft Edge web browser. That’s all!!
