In today’s lesson, you will learn how to sort a list alphabetically in Word for macOS.
Open the document you need. We had already prepared a list of words for this tutorial.
If you want to sort a list A to Z, select the text you need. Make sure you’re on the ‘Home’ tab. Click on ‘Sort’ icon. Set ‘Sort by’ to ‘Headings’ in the new window. Set ‘Type’ to ‘Text’. Check ‘Ascending’. Click ‘Ok’.
If you want to sort the list Z to A, select the text you need. Make sure you’re on the ‘Home’ tab. Click on ‘Sort’ icon. Set ‘Sort by’ to ‘Headings’ in the new window. Set ‘Type’ to ‘Text’. Check ‘Descending’. Click ‘Ok’.
