You can search for emails in the search box at the top of window. You can select where you want to search like current mail box, current folder, subfolders etc. If you type in a word then Outlook searches for the word in senders name, subject, body of email and many types of attachments. This video explains the different ways you can search for your emails including the advanced search feature.
