This video will show you how to schedule a scan in Windows Defender on Windows 10

1. Go into the start menu and type Task Scheduler

2. Navigate through to Task Scheduler Library/Microsoft/Windows/Windows Defender

3. Now double click on schedule scan and open up the triggers tab.

4. Create a new trigger and specify the frequency of the scan you want to do.
