**UPDATE**
Apparently this doesn’t work for build 22621.900 but you can try one of these IDs instead if the one from the video is not working for you.

vivetool /disable /id:42038001

vivetool /disable /id:40966682

You might have noticed that during one of your Windows 11 updates that you now have a new search icon on the taskbar that takes up more space than the old one yet does the exact same thing. Microsoft seems to be rolling out this new icon to random computers and it’s hard to say if you will get this new icon or not. If you do and want to revert it back to the original search icon, it’s very easy to do using the ViVeTool from Github.

Here is what the new search box options will look like in the near future.

Here is the command you run from an administrative command prompt.
vivetool /disable /id:39263329
