In today’s tutorial, you will learn how to reset preferences in Outlook 2019 for macOS.
File Preferences has a set of some settings. It doesn’t include account settings and any other important settings. They’re saved into Identity file.
So, first you need to quit Outlook. Open the app. Click on Outlook at the top menu bar. Select ‘Quit Outlook’ from the list.
Go to Spotlight search and open Terminal. Copy and paste the command you can find in the description box below and press Enter.
defaults delete com.microsoft.Outlook; killall csprefsd
The first half of the command will reset the settings and the second half will clean cashed files.
