The red and blue lines in Microsoft Word usually indicate spelling errors, while blue lines indicate grammar issues. If you want to remove or turn off these red underlines, follow these steps:

For Windows:
Turn Off Spelling & Grammar Check
Open Microsoft Word.
Click on File go to Options.
In the Word Options window, select Proofing from the left panel.
Scroll down to the /”When correcting spelling and grammar in Word/” section.
Uncheck:
Check spelling as you type – removes red lines
Mark grammar errors as you type – removes blue lines
Click OK to save changes.

Remove Existing Red Lines in a Document
Select all text by pressing Ctrl plus A.
Click on Review in the top menu.
Select Language – Set Proofing Language.
Check /”Do not check spelling or grammar/”.
Click OK.
