Click on File on the ribbon. Click on Open and Recent. Right click on any document and choose /”Clear unpinned items/”. To hide the recent documents click on Options. Go under /”Advanced/” and /”Display/” options. Change /”Show this number of Recent Documents/” to 0. Click OK to save the settings.
