So if you’ve deleted a file on your Chromebook within the past 30 days, and now you’ve changed your mind and want to get it back, this is how it’s done.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to recover files that you deleted more than thirty days ago because those files will now have been permanently deleted, but as long as you deleted the file less than thirty days ago, you’ll be good to go.
The way this is done depends on where you deleted the file from in the first place. If you deleted a file from anywhere in the /”My files/” section, you’ll need to follow the steps at 2:03 in this video.
Or if you deleted the file from the Google Drive section, you’ll need to follow the steps at 5:10 in this video.
But, if you deleted the file from the /”Recent/” section, you’ll need to try both of the methods.
