First YOu need to make a Chrome OS recovery USB drive from the google site.
Note: if you search with Asus C423N you no going to find it . Just search C423( you not gonna see the letter /”N/”)
search #Chromebook Recovery Utility and find the right model and connect your blank USB or the used USB and follow the process.
you are going to lose any existing data from the USB.
