Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.log. I saw this message at the end of sfc scan (system file checker process). Then i decide to see the corrupted files or cannot repair files, but at this time access is denied to open the CBS.log file.
Solution: Use the command findstr .. to read the contents from CBS.log file and write to sfcdetails.txt file. Open sfcdetails.txt file and search for the words ‘cannot repair member file’. You can also see the reason why the file cannot be repaired. Sometimes it is due to hash mismatch.
