Here is a quick and easy video to show you how to perform a print screen / screenshot on a Windows laptop.

It’s really easy to get started and create your first screenshot. All you have to do is get something on the screen you want to take a screenshot/screen dump of and press the following key (can change per machine)…

PRT SC Key

Once this key has been pressed it will take a snapshot of the current screen and put it in the copy and paste buffer. You can then ‘paste’ this screen shot in lots of different applications such as graphic and photo software and writing packages.

To ‘paste’ the image in the application (MS Word, Paint etc) you then visit the ‘Edit’ menu and select ‘Paste’. This will then put the screenshot in the document.
