In this video we will see How to Install Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) version 2 on Windows 11.

This instructions in this video tutorial can be applied for laptops, desktops, computers, and tablets which run the Windows 11 operating system like Windows 11 Home, Windows 11 Professional, Windows 11 Enterprise, Windows 11 Education. This tutorial will work on all hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Samsung.

Check Windows Version:
Ensure you have Windows 10 version 2004 Build 19041or later. WSL 2 requires this version or higher.

The below command will show a list of valid distributions of Linux that can be installed:
wsl –list –online

Install Kali Linux with the below command line:
wsl –install -d kali-linux

Install Ubuntu Linux 22.04
wsl –install -d Ubuntu-22.04

Update WSL Kernel:
wsl –update
