In this video I’ll show you how it’s possible to install and play Minecraft on a Google Chromebook, crucially without the ability to find/install it from the Google Play Store as an Android app, but rather by using the Linux beta on Chrome OS. Links from the video:

If you receive any error during the install please run these two commands in the terminal first before re-trying the Minecraft install. These commands:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y
