In this video, I’ll show you how to install Linux on your Chromebook in 2024. The menu options for installing Linux on ChromeOS has changed since I last did a video on this. Therefore, I’ve done a new video, which will show you how to install Linux on a Chromebook.

This is a quick easy to follow video, which will show you that Linux can be installed on your Chromebook in less than five minutes.

Once you’ve installed Linux on your Chromebook, you’ll want to take advantage of Linux apps. To do this you’ll need to install the Linux apps you want to use on your Chromebook.

There are many ways to install Linux Apps, either using FlatPak or by installing a Linux App store.

Installing FlatPak Linux apps is easy and is a good choice for ChromeOS. This is because you can easily install, update and uninstall FlatPak apps. Below I’ve included a link on how to install FlatPak Linux apps on your Chromebook.
