Part 1: How to Insert a New Blank Page

Place the cursor where you want to insert the new page. It could be at the end of the document, between two existing pages, or before a specific section.
Method 1: Go to the /”Insert/” tab on the top menu bar. Look for the /”Pages/” group and click on the /”Blank Page/” option. A new blank page will be inserted at the cursor’s location.
Method 2: Use the /”Ctrl + Enter/” keyboard shortcut. Press and hold the /”Ctrl/” key on your keyboard and then press the /”Enter/” key. This will insert a new blank page at the cursor’s location.
You can start typing or adding content on the new page right away.
Part 2: How to Delete Extra Pages

Scroll through your document to identify the extra page you want to remove. Make sure you’re on the page you want to delete.
Place the cursor at the beginning of the page you want to delete. You can click anywhere on the page to position the cursor.
Go to the /”View/” tab on the top menu bar.
In the /”Views/” group, click on the /”Draft/” view to display the document in a simplified layout.
Press and hold the /”Ctrl/” key on your keyboard and, at the same time, click on the pages you want to delete. Each page will be highlighted as you click on it.
Once you have selected the extra pages, press the /”Delete/” key on your keyboard. The selected pages will be removed from the document.
Bonus Tips:

If you have a section break or page break that you want to remove, you can go to the /”Layout/” tab, click on /”Breaks,/” and select /”Remove Page Break/” or /”Remove Section Break/” as needed.

To quickly jump to a specific page in your document, use the /”Go To/” feature. Press /”Ctrl + G/” on your keyboard, enter the page number, and click /”Go To./”

By mastering these techniques and using the /”Ctrl + Enter/” shortcut, you’ll have full control over inserting new pages and removing extra ones in Microsoft Word, allowing you to create well-organized and professional-looking documents with ease.
