To freeze both rows and columns at once in Excel, start by selecting the cell at the intersection where you want both row and column freezing to start. For example, if you want to keep row 1 and column A fixed, click on cell B2.
Then, go to the View tab in the ribbon, select Freeze Panes, and click on Freeze Panes again from the dropdown menu. This will lock all rows above and all columns to the left of your selected cell, allowing you to scroll while keeping those rows and columns visible.
