This is the SURE FIRE way to fix your blue yeti microphone. I got mine second hand, broken off ebay, it did start working but stopped again recently. USB issues or something since the monitor out worked 100% perfectly. The quick and simple fix is to just use the monitory out with a male male 3.5mm audio patch cable. The USB cable powers the unit, but audio will flow through the monitor jack into your ‘audio input’ on your computer (on the back of my iMac in my case). This gets around all the other issues that have been seen with the yeti and I’ve had no issues. the only downside is 2 cables running from it but this is not a big deal at all in the end if the quality of the audio and stability is there.
Thanks for watching!
