This can happen either due to files not being downloaded properly or other reasons like corrupted system files. As such, the user encounters the “We couldn’t complete the updates. Undoing changes” error. Sometimes, users are thrown into a loop of the problem every time they try to boot up the system.
In order to remove update files you will need to boot your Windows into Safe Mode. To do so, open Advanced Startup/Automatic Repair window again and go to /”Advanced options/” menu again by following previously described steps. In Advanced options, click /”Startup Settings/”. In Startup Settings, click /”Restart/”.
