Teachers have saved most of their worksheets and handouts as Microsoft Word documents. Now that our students all have access to Chromebooks many teachers are converting these Word documents to Google documents to post in their Google Classroom. There is a glitch that disables Voice Typing in Google Docs when a Word document is converted to a Google Doc. This glitch also disabled ReadWrite Speech Input. This video describes a solution to this problem. Hopefully Google fixes this issue, however, the fix takes less than a minute to complete.
