Here at Puget Systems, we have been seeing an issue with the Asus X99E-10G WS motherboard and other boards which use PLX chips to enable triple or quad NVIDIA graphics card configurations. When running a workload that is heavy on both the CPU and GPUs, this hardware combination can crash and give the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error (blue screen of death). This is an instructional video that outlines a work around we have found to resolve this issue.
