In this tutorial I show you how to fix Discord stuck on grey screen. This issue usually occurs when you’re trying to launch Discord resulting in an error where Discord is not opening. To fix the issue you can delete the Discord app data files. Doing so will require Discord to be completely closed. Once the app data folder has been deleted you can open Discord and the needed files will automatically be remade.

Another option is to use an alternate version of Discord. There are two primary choices for this, the browser version and the public test build version. If the Discord stuck on grey screen issue is temporary then you may prefer to use the browser version of Discord temporarily. However, if you want to use an application then the public test build works well as a replacement for the standard Discord app.

Alternatively, the Discord not opening issue may be caused to issues on Discords end. You can check if there are any current issues through the Discord status page.
