Type the following command in cmd and hit Enter:

sc config debugregsvc start=auto
sc start debugregsvc

Navigate to the following Registry Key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//SOFTWARE//Policies//Microsoft//Windows//WindowsUpdate//AU

Now type the following command one by one and hit Enter after each one:

net stop wuauserv
net stop bits
net stop cryptsvc
net start wuauserv
net stop bits
net stop cryptsvc
