You can fix camera and webcam problems in windows 11 and 10 by 4 simple methods

Turn on Camera in All Settings. Click on windows start button//settings//privacy//camera//let apps use my camera: turn it on

uninstall webcam/camera driver from device manager. Right click on windows start button//device manager//imaging devices/ight click and uninstall all items under imaging devices. Don’t delete. Just uninstall, uncheck the option of delete if asked.
Now click on Action on the top menu//Scan for hardware changes. The uninstalled driver will come back if you didn’t delete. Please restart your system if it didn’t come back!

Note: If you don’t have anything under imaging devices, you need to download and install the camera/webcam driver. Search in google like /”Windows 10 webcam driver for Lenovo G657/”

net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//SOFTWARE//WOW6432Node//Microsoft//Windows Media Foundation//Platform
right click on blank left panel/
ew//dword (32 bit) value
Double click/right click the file and rename it as
EnableFrameServerMode
Double click the file and change the value as zero /”0/” without quotes

Restart your system to apply the changes you have made. Search Camera in windows search panel. Open camera and it should be working properly now!
