In this ASMR Plumbing video, I’ve been called out to a job where there is a compression fitting leaking on top of a hot water cylinder

 because the pipework comes from above my approach was to cut a leave of valve in so I could control the water flow coming back at me and using a hacksaw. I cut a tiny slot in the pipe so I know exactly how much water is inside and how much pressure is in the pipe. If you don’t do this and go straight with a pipe slice and find out that you have an isolated it properly and you’re gonna get a problem with a full load of water on an open end pipe.
