If you need to make sure that none of the users on your computer can use the private browsing feature of Microsoft Edge known as InPrivate mode, then you can easily disable it for all users, even if they are an administrator on the computer. It’s a great way to keep an eye on your kid’s browsing history since they will not be able to browse the web in secret. Of course, if the other users are local admins and know how to find the registry key, they can disable it themselves so that is something to keep in mind.
Here are the steps from the video.
Navigate to
Computer//HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//SOFTWARE//Policies//Microsoft
Create an Edge key if you don’t have one
Under the Edge key, create a new 32 Bit DWORD value called InPrivateModeAvailability
Double click InPrivateModeAvailability and set its value to 1
Restart the computer or Windows Explorer
