You probably know that Microsoft Edge comes with different browsing modes such as In Private (incognito) mode and Guest browsing mode. Both of these modes are similar as to what they do but you may need to disable one or both of these modes for a certain reason. In this video we show you how to disable InPrivate and Guest Browsing mode in Edge and then how to reenable them when needed.

Here are the commands from the video.

Disable browsing as guest
REG ADD HKLM//SOFTWARE//Policies//Microsoft//Edge /v BrowserGuestModeEnabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0

Enable browsing as guest
REG DELETE HKLM//SOFTWARE//Policies//Microsoft//Edge /v BrowserGuestModeEnabled /f

Disable In Private Mode
REG ADD HKLM//SOFTWARE//Policies//Microsoft//Edge /v InPrivateModeAvailability /t REG_DWORD /d 1

Enable In Private Mode
REG DELETE HKLM//SOFTWARE//Policies//Microsoft//Edge /v InPrivateModeAvailability /f
