To delete TikTok account in 2024:
1. Open up the TikTok application on your Android phone or iPhone.
2. Tap the profile icon at the bottom right corner of your screen.
3. Tap the three-lines menu at the top right, then select Settings and privacy.
4. Tap Account.
5. Tap Deactivate or delete account.
6. Tap Delete account permanently.
7. Choose a reason for leaving TikTok, then tap Continue.
8. Check the box at the bottom, and then tap Continue.
9. Tap Continue once more.
10. Enter your account password, then tap Delete account.
11. As a final step, tap Delete in the pop-up that shows up to permanently delete your TikTok account.

And that’s all! You’ve just learned how to delete your TikTok account.

Your account will be first deactivated for 30 days. After 30 days, all of your account data and content will be permanently removed from TikTok. If you change your mind and want to cancel the deletion process, simply log into your account before the 30-day period expires to recover it.
