In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you how to delete all of your Google account activity history, such as Chrome browsing, Google video searches, shopping, YouTube, Home, Maps, and more. Pretty much if it’s a Google service, it’ll wipe your history, and it’ll do it across all of your devices.
To get started, open Chrome, make sure you’re logged into your account, and head to MyActivity.Google.com.
On this page, you can scroll through and get a brief overview of your activity on your Google account.
On the left, select Delete Activity By.
In this pop-up window, you can then choose how much and the time frame of what you’d like to delete.
Choosing All Time, you can then scroll through and choose all of the activities that you’d like to delete. The amount of Google services that you use will determine how many selectable items are in this list. On this account, I only have four services to delete. On my other account, I have 37, so this all depends on what you use.
When you’re ready, select Next. On this next prompt, review a preview of the data you’re about to delete, and when you’re ready hit Delete.
If you’d rather just delete the history of a day or even an hour, head back to the Delete Activity By section, and choose the option that you want to do. It will then automatically delete the choice that you’ve made. When you’re done, hit Got It and you’re all set.
And that’s how you delete all of your Google account activity history.
