in this video we will see how

to delete a kik account

in just few simple steps

so stay tuned

let’s open the kik app

click on that

now let’s open up the settings panel

click on the top left section of the screen

so click that in the settings panel

click on your account

so we will tap on that

in this make sure that the email address

you have entered with the kik account is a valid one

because an email would be sent to this account

for deletion of the account

so click on email

make sure that the status here

is mentioned as conformed

since my status is not confirmed

I would be tapping on the status

and then clicking yes

this will send a verification email

to your email account

okay now in this email scroll down

and select the option of

click to complete signup

now since your account is confirmed

we can continue with the account deletion process

now let’s open the kik app

then go to the settings panel

by clicking on the top left corner

click on your account

now click on reset kik

it will ask you to confirm

whether you want to reset

click on yes

after doing this

all your conversations and chat details

would be erased and it would be

as if you just started of with kik

on the description of this video

you’ll find a link

which will redirect you to

this page for deactivating your kik account

in this form just enter the email

that is associated with a kik account that

we just confirmed

now just click on the go button

after doing this you will receive an email

for deactivating your kik account

now let’s head to your email

okay this is the email that you will receive

in this just scroll down

you’ll find a link to deactivate your account

just click that link

on clicking the link

it will open up a short questionnaire

asking why you want to leave kik

just select one reason

out of the given options

then click go

that’s it

after that your kik account would be deactivated
