Hi my name is Roger Ahuja and I’m going to take a moment and show you how to customize this ribbon up here in Excel 2013 and you can also use the same method in Word or Excel or Publisher. You would go to file, go to options and then under customize ribbon, right here you can change the sequence that things are in and so forth. This is the home tab which is what you see up here. If I want to change the sequence like this section is the clipboard section and this section here is for the font, I can reverse them if I spend more time with the fonts, I can move it to the front and hit okay and now those two have switched. You can also add your own sections so I can create a new tab and add to that whatever commands I want from here. You can also rename the tab to say My tab and now if I look up here, I’ve got My tab which could be the items I do most frequently. And lastly if you want to just put it back to the way it was. You go back in here and hit reset and you can reset all customizations and this will get rid of all the customizations and as you can see my tab is gone and the font section is back to where it was and the clipboard section is back to where it was and that’s it.
