You can quickly curve text in PowerPoint by first creating a text box and writing your text. Then select your text box and in the Shape format tab, select Text Effects. This will open a dropdown that previews various curved text templates, very similar to Word Art. You can curve text along a path here. Just select your preferred curved text style.
