If needed, it is possible to recycle an old flat modular ISDN telephone line cable to create a short jumper for an Ethernet connection, simply crimp the RJ45 connectors and wires with the same color sequence on both ends, perhaps to be replaced as soon as possible with a Cat6 round cable or higher, with significantly better performance in terms of speed and reliability.
