In this tutorial let us see How to Create Multiple Dependent Drop Down Lists up to 3 levels in Excel.

For example, let’s say you’re dealing with Categories, Subcategories, and Items. Each in their respective columns, where I want to have the drop-down lists to be configured.

In this settings sheet, I have the list of categories and the Sub-categories which are dependent on Categories and then I have the list of Items which are further dependent on sub-categories. So, you have to arrage your data in this manner.

First what we need to do is naming the ranges for our convenience.
