I’ll show you how to create a child theme in WordPress using a plugin called child theme configurator.

This will work even if you have already updated some of the parent files. The WordPress plugin will copy most of your settings from parent to child.

I’ll also show how to check that your child theme works. Then I’ll take you through the process of copying a new file from parent to child.
