Excel’s status bar shows various statistics based on the values in the selected cell range (e.g. sum, average, max and min).

Right-clicking on it opens the Customize Status Bar menu where you can choose what is featured.

Microsoft stealthily snuck a new feature at the back end of last year, which allows you to copy a stat by clicking on it to paste it elsewhere.

Imagine you need to give your boss that sales figure in an email. No need to manually type it!
