If you have switched from Windows Mail to the new Outlook for Windows (Outlook One) email client, then you might not know that you can add email rules just like you can in the Outlook 365 client. You do not have all of the same options but there are enough for most people to get by. You can’t use the rules features on all types of email accounts though. For example, you cannot make rules for Gmail accounts and other non Microsoft accounts.
