Hey! Welcome to HOWZA channel! In today’s tutorial, we will teach you how to clear all text formatting in Microsoft Word Online.
You can easily clear all formatting (such as bold, underline, italics, color, superscript, subscript, and more) from your text and return your text to its default formatting styles.
Open Microsoft Word Online or the Word Online Document that you need.
Select the text that you need. Go to Home tab at the top tools bar. Look for the font block and click on the Clear formatting option. You can see how it looks in the video.
It is simple. Select the text you want to clear from formatting. Go to home tab and look for the font block. Click on the Clear formatting option. Repeat if necessary.
There are parts of the document that won’t be changed, and this clear formatting option doesn’t work for them. In other words, you need to clear formatting for these sections separately: header content, footer content, content in text boxes.
