In this video I will show you the Linux commands you can use to clean up your Linux storage space on your Chromebook. Linux is a great addition to ChromeOS, as it opens up so many possibilities. However, you need to ensure you keep your storage clean and tidy, and I’ll show you how to do that.

It’s important to remember even if you reduce the amount of storage used within side Linux it will not reduce the overall storage space available. This is because you set the Linux storage space.

However, by reducing the amount of storage used within side Linux, you can then reduce the Linux container, which will provide more storage for ChromeOS. This might be needed if you want to install an Android app and you have no storage available.

I will show you the different ways you can check how much storage is being used by Linux, which will then make it clear if you can reduce your Linux container size, and provide more storage to ChromeOS.
