1. Type in cmd in Windows search bar and right click on command prompt and click on /”Run as Admin/”.
2. Type /”powercfg /batteryreport/” without the quotes and hit enter.
3. Look for the Battery Life Report file path and open it in your browser.
This report includes comprehensive details about the battery in your laptop, including the manufacturer, serial number, cycle count, design capacity, and full charge capacity.
To calculate the health of laptop battery, use the following formula:
(Full Charge Capacity / Design Capacity) * 100
