In this video we will see how to use function upper, lower and proper. These functions are used to change the text cases of the texts inside a specified cell. Upper function is used to turn all characters into capital letters. Lower function is used to turn all the letters into small case. Proper function is used to make the first letter of a word capital letter just like proper nouns. These functions are helpful when dealing and typing names in your spreadsheet since you don’t have to type the names again to make change its text cases in excel. These function will work on Excel 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019. Just type upper, lower or proper into the function bar after an equals sign and followd by the cell name enclosed with parenthesis.
