You can easily change the background during a video call on Microsoft Teams. As long as you are using the Microsoft Teams application on Mac or PC, you will have the virtual background effects.

The option is not available on the Microsoft Teams website or mobile apps.

There are around 25 virtual backgrounds you can choose for your video calls on Microsoft Teams. You cannot however upload your own image or video as a background (custom background). Microsoft is working on that update.
