Sometimes you have a lot of downloads to finish or projects to render and you don’t want to stay up all night waiting for it to finish before going to bed. You also don’t want to turn it off and do it again the next day. You prefer to somehow just go to sleep and let your computer finish its work and then auto turn off when it’s done. Well, here is an easy to to auto shutdown or turn off your computer using this simple windows command.

If you are going out but don’t want to leave your computer on all day, but just want it on long enough to finish downloads or virus scans or rendering processes, you can set an auto timer to turn off the computer so it’s not left running all day.
