If you like to use ChatGPT for your questions but don’t like having to go to the ChatGPT website each type you want to type in your prompt, you can easily add a ChatGPT search option to your web browser. You can add this ChatGPT search option to Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox as needed. Once its configured, you can do ChatGPT searches right from your browser address bar.

Google Chrome
Click on the 3 dots and go to Settings.
Click on Search Engine.
Go to Manage search engines and site search.
Select the Add option next to Site Search.
Add the following information:
Name: ChatGPT
Shortcut: @chatgpt
URL: https://chatgpt.com/?q=%s&hints=search
Click Save.

Microsoft Edge
Click on the 3 dots and go to Settings.
Click on Privacy, Search & Services.
Scroll down to Search and connected experiences.
Click on Address bar and search.
Click on Manage search engines.
Add the following information:
Name: ChatGPT
Shortcut: @chatgpt
URL: https://chatgpt.com/?q=%s&hints=search
Click Save.

Mozilla Firefox
Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.
In the search field, type (or copy//paste) browser.urlbar.update2.engineAliasRefresh.
Click the + button next to this variable to add it.
Click on the 3 horizontal lines and go to Settings.
Click on Search.
Scroll down to Search Shortcuts and click the Add button.
Add the following information:
Search engine name: ChatGPT
Engine URL: https://chatgpt.com/?q=%s&hints=search
Alias: @chatgpt
Click on Add Engine.
