How can I add icons, labels and textboxes to my map?

1. To add features, go to the “Add features” section on the left side panel. Select the icon set and choose the feature you want to add.
2. Simply drag and drop any object onto your map.
3. To edit your object simply double click on the text or object you’d like to change.

To give a unnamed spot a name, search for an address or drop a pin on the map. Tap the pin, then tap the triple-dot button in the upper-right corner and select Edit name. Your place will now have a name on your map — and only your map; the name is private and visible — and searchable — only to you.

The primary reason for Google Maps giving wrong location details is due to bad or no internet connection. If the internet on your android phone is active and running you will be able to get the exact location details.
