Fonts are used every day in the life of a designer. Learning about licensing is key to effectively using each font. Whether it’s for a personal side project or client work font usages applies throughout.

I license is permission to use a font for specific usage whether it’s for digital web or print work. Sometimes it can be limited to having on 1 machine or only on a certain amount of products.

Each license and type foundry can vary from place to place but understanding that fonts are important is vital to being a professional.
